DIY Plexiglass Bag Look #3

Here is a 3rd look with my handmade plexiglass bag! I can't wait until I have a little more time and can actually start making these to sell. I'm finally not that sick anymore, so I'll be taking some more outfit photos today including some with my favorite ballet platforms-so look out for some new posts with those next week! :) In other news, school is flying by with project after project...and I heard that a bunch of people are receiving their acceptance letters from Parsons-so a big congrats to the new 2017 class! :)

The Pink Coat

I absolutely love this vintage coat I found at a Goodwill in Indianapolis. It reminds me of something Elle from Legally Blonde would wear. It also reminds me of Moschino's  mod SS 2013 coats in a way. I paired it with my skate heels, a black skater skirt, a white top and my black jeweled necklace.

Gothic

Sorry for the lack of posts lately! I've been sick all week. :( I still needed to share my styling of this awesome belt sent to me by Oasap though! The belt is elastic, so it would fit any waist, and I love the gold tiger-definitely reminds me of something Natalia Kills would wear, and I love her style (she actually just posted a white and black pearl disco pants look too!).

You can get the belt here:

And it's currently on sale, so definitely check it out!

More posts this weekend hopefully-if I'm feeling a bit better!

Pastel and Polka Dots!

This outfit is definitely very girly. I can't get enough of pairing my ruffle socks with my lace up booties and petticoats. I also love how even though the top is printed, it's very subtle and still works with the polka dots. I'm super busy this week, definitely getting back into the workload already! I'm still going to keep up with my blog though, and try and do more illustrations too-it's just a matter of time management. Anyway, I can't wait for spring so I can actually go out with bare legs again (these are old photos haha). Also, I need spring to come faster so I can get myself so jelly sandals, which have yet to come back in stock for spring yet. :(

SIlver and Gold

I couldn't believe my luck when I found this gold vintage dress at Goodwill over break. I paired it with this silver top that I knotted at the waist. I found the top at Goodwill as well. I'll have to post pictures of my haul since I can't do Youtube videos.
Even though it was freezing, I had to go take pictures out in the snow in Indiana-it was just so pretty! Hope you guys like them!

It's Not All Black and White

I definitely have a disco pants problem. Actually an American Apparel problem. Oh well.
I paired my pearl disco pants with this cream, cropped, oversized sweater that I am completely obsessed with pairing with all my high-waisted pants. I added my Lime Crime lipstick in Styletto (black) to up the contrast and match my super comfy Jeffrey Campbell Clinics. This outfit is definitely one of my favorites-I even wanted to wear it to NYFW, but it's too cold and none of my jackets will accommodate the huge sleeves on this sweater (it's one downside). I can't wait to show you guys what I do pick for fashion week though. I'm trying to pick out an outfit tonight since I'll be heading there tomorrow and maybe Wednesday and Thursday night as well. Also, stay tuned for a post on my favorite shows at the end of the week! :)

UNIF Hellbound Dupes!

I finally recieved my UNIF Hellbound dupes last week and I'm so excited to share them with you! I ordered them from this site called lovelyshoes.net for $43, but I don't really recommend them because I kept having problems with my order and the shipping was very slow on their end. They do have the same shoes on Ebay though, so I would definitely purchase them from there! Here are some links to the different colors/patterns they have (wish they had hot pink!):

I got the black faux leather ones. I don't think the faux leather is actually that bad-and it's great if you want to wear them in the rain! The main difference between these and the actual UNIF ones is that the platform is a bit lower and the actual heel is only a tad bit lower but also skinnier. I'd say the dupes are lot less chunky/grungy compared to the UNIF Hellbounds. The shoes came with only black laces, so I ordered rainbow ones as well, but I can't lace them up all the way because I need a much longer pair of laces even though I ordered the longest ones I could find-so if you know where I can get some really long laces in rainbow ombre or other colors, let me know! Here's some more pictures of them:

Ships Ahoy!

I took these photos before Christmas when it was nice a warm out. Now I'm stuck inside because of all the snow. I want spring weather already! At least this gives me time to work on some drawings though. Here's one I did last night (Kristen Stewart for Baleciaga's Florabotanica):

And here are some outfit photos:

My Own Design-Gold Spiked Bag!

I made this purse for an assignment at the begining of last semester. We watched the Bill Cunningham documentary and were supposed to create a 2d or 3d piece reflecting on the documentary. I made this purse because I wanted to make something unique. I was inspired by how Bill talked about how so many people dressed the same and how he looked for people with personal style. I definitely agree that many people do dress the same, which is very boring. I wish more people would dress up everyday.

As for the purse, I used this gorgeous gold pony hair for the bottom and a purple suede for the rest. I also added gold chain, spike, and fringe details. The whole process took about 4 hours.

Hellbound in Camouflage

I was so excited when my dad said I could have his old Air Force jacket. I'd been looking for a camo jacket for a while and this one is perfect! It's a large but I just roll up the sleeves and cinch the waist so it just has an oversized look without being overwhelming.  I think it goes great with my Unif Hellbounds as the colors are very similar even though the prints are different. I wore this outfit when I went home to visit my friends but with a different necklace and a collared shirt. Here are some of the pictures I took with my friends:
