Coconut Oil has been used for skin and hair care in the tropical climates for hundreds of years. In the 1990s scientific studies proved its advantages and healing properties to the Western world.  It seems to be the answer for every condition – skin care, hair care, weight loss, just name it!

Coconut Oil is high on saturated fats, more specifically medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA), which unlike the long-chain saturated fats (found in foods like bacon and cream), speed-up metabolism by working the liver. Therefore Coconut Oil helps the body burn fats faster and benefits weight loss. It also balances the cholesterol levels in the body, lowering the risk of diabetes, heart diseases and stroke.
