Neon Squared

I seem to be having a small obsession with neon lately, so I was super excited to find this neon American Apparel beanie at the outlet. It matches my litas, so I just had to wear them together (even though I did get quite a few more looks than usual). I really love them together, and you'll definitely see me wearing them together again!

Also, I've got a couple questions about the American Apparel outlet. I believe they have a warehouse in LA, and they have one in Soho, which is where I go. They have great deals if you love american apparel stuff, but make sure you inspect every inch of the item you're buying. The reason they're at the outlet is that there's something wrong with them (minor or major). Still, I have managed to find some great items! Still waiting on a pair of the gold and pearl disco pants to show up in my size there...and some petticoats in pastels...and taupe riding pants... ;)

Btw, look out for a post this week featuring more neon with a DIY plexiglass bag (which you may have seen previewed on my tumblr/instagram)! :)

Spikes and Skeletons

I was so excited to receive this spiked snapback hat in the mail from Oasap! Although the spike trend has been done so much, this cap does it in a whole new way. I love it! They also have it in other colors like white, red, and yellow...not gonna lie-I kinda want another one in white. ;)

Check it out here:

Also, I haven't been thrifting much lately in New York because it's often the same price as buying items at Forever 21 or H&M...but the difference is the items are much higher quality. This month, I got two items that I have been wanting for over a year. I got the skeleton print Black Milk leggings and the black Jeffrey Campbell Clinic wedges. I'm seriously so obsessed with both of them. One thing I will say about the Black Milk leggings though is that they are thinner than I expected...I will probably wear them over tights or plain black thin leggings. That's the great thing about thrifting in NYC though-finding expensive items for a fraction of the price! I still can't wait to go to suburbia this week for Thanksgiving and hit up the Goodwills there. I'm in need of many 7-dollar vintage coats.
