Miranda Barnes is a photographer that I met through tumblr. She asked me to model for her sunglasses photography project, and we decided to shoot at the Brooklyn Bridge. Miranda's photos are all really awesome, so you should definitely go check them out at her tumblr here: mirandabarnes.tumblr.com.
As for the outfit, I had to wear my thrifted metallic Docs with my sparkle cat eye sunnies from urban Outfitters! Also, I was so lucky to find this top and shorts at second hand stores as well-lovee them!

Red, White, and Polka Dot All Over
I don't know if you can see the the pattern on this dress, but it's vertical red and white stripes on top ad little white polka dots on the bottom. I of course had to pair it with my white and red polka dot blazer. I just love how they work together-definitely one of my favorite outfit pairings! I also adore my white skate shoes, but I am going to paint the bottom of them white, so they will look even more skate-like. The bottoms are fake wood, so I'm not a big fan of that, but if I paint them white I think it will be better.
In other news, I was browsing some Asian fashion sites again online and came across Coco Fashion. They have really cute Korean fashion clothing, so if you have been a fan of my last posts regarding some Asian fashion sites, I'm sure you will love their shop! My favorite section is the jacket section, which you can see HERE.
Also, I have this incredible bag that I got from thrifting in Williamsburg, and it seriously is the perfect style. It's a fold-over tote, so you can fit tons of stuff in it or fold it over when you're not carrying that much. Here's some pics of it folded and unfolded:
Anyway, I am going to start doing youtube videos soon with some clothing hauls, an update on my shoe collection, diys, and more! I hope you guys will all like it!

Take Me to the Carnival
So, this is going to be a very picture heavy post, guys! Two of my friends from Indy came to visit me last week and on our last night, we got dressed up and took some photos before heading off to dinner at CO-OP on the Lower East Side. Btw, CO-OP is on the more expensive side, but it was delicious and very trendy with a great atmosphere! I highly recommend it.
Also, while we were shopping around nyc thrift stores, I came across these cosmic Litas in like new condition from Buffalo Exchange. they're size 9.5, and I wear an 8.5 in litas most Jeffrey Campbells, but I simply put on two pairs of socks and they fit perfect!. I seriously could not pass these up...soo in love! Although, when I wore them on the subway, a girl complimented me on them and then this pretentious preppy guy sarcastically was like "yeah, nice shoes" to his friend and then made a gagging motion. I didn't see it, but my friend did and I wish she had told me sooner so I could have thanked him properly haha ;) But, besides that comment, I got lots of compliments! Love them!
And I just had to pair the Litas with this color block top from KiwiLook. Isn't it awesome? And it match so perfectly! You can get the top HERE.
So, here are the photos that my friends and I took with my new camera and 50mm lens! I think I might have to get a zoom lens though for taking pictures in crowded rooms and when trying to focus on two subjects on different sides of the room...unless you can do this with 50mm lenses? All you photographers, please let me know! :)
